Varices

Varices was founded on October 14th 2017 by bassist Anden "Spirit Eriksson, vocalist Carl "Hideous" Axelsson and guitarist Samuel "Slacker" Carlqvist at a local bar in Norrköping, Sweden.

The members of Varices immediately started writing songs on their own, and on November 23rd 2018, a year after the founding of the group, the selftitled debut EP was released on Spotify and other platforms. The record revealed a combination of emotional, melodic parts and groovy sections of pure attitude, all under a blend of growls and clean vocals. In short terms, the different influences of every individual in the band has brought a unique sound to the music, and the young age of members and their commitment to music makes Varices stand out among thousands of other bands in the scene.
